You do your own WHAT?

That's right folks, we do our OWN family pictures... and we have, since we got married!! Wait, rewind... we did our own engagement photos too!! My husband and I both LOVE photography, and we both took some classes in college that helped that love to grow.

I took an entire class on using photoshop and other editing tools, and for our 1 year anniversary my husband about me LightRoom, and I LOVE IT! We have done all our children newborn pictures, our family pictures, etc. I LOVE doing it because it allows me to capture my OWN vision, and I can be as picky as I want!!! This year I envisioned a soft, and elegant "fairytale forest" photoshoot. While it didn't turn out EXACTLY as I'd planned (since I forgot the girls dresses and had to buy whatever we could find)... and the forest was full of a little extra "shrub" than normal... I still fell in LOVE with the pictures! And yes... we did them ourselves :D

A very FROZEN birthday...

This year my sweet girl turned FOUR! Oh my heavens! I seriously cannot believe it's been four years since I held that little angel in my arms for the first time!

This was the first year that we let her have a friend party! She was so excited she could hardly contain her joy for WEEKS! Every day she would ask me "which number are we on"... "how many more days until my party".

She was pretty easy to please, but she had one specific request, "Mom, I want a MAGICAL Frozen party..."

No pressure, no worries!!! Well, I took her words, and I did my best to bring to life the most magical frozen party a 4 year old could imagine!
